A standout feature of the newly built OTP Bank headquarters in Budapest is its architectural vision of unified, flowing space. Designed by MádiLáncos Studio, the building masterfully balances a strict structural framework with soft, organic elements, both inside and out. Atriums, courtyards, and passageways connect the interior with the landscape, while biophilic design principles—natural materials, soft color palettes, and abundant greenery—create a serene, immersive atmosphere for those working inside. Once inside, the bustling energy of Váci Road fades away, replaced by calm, focus-driven spaces designed for collaboration and efficiency. The full AV design of the headquaters was done by AVM Konferenciatechnika Kft.
Natural light, open sightlines, and transparency not only enhance the building’s aesthetic appeal but also support employee wellbeing and productivity. Gentle curves and organic lines soften the vast architectural scale, subtly weaving together workspaces, lounges, and meeting areas. Among these, the boardroom stands out—defined by a spectacular, custom-crafted wooden table that discreetly integrates advanced technology without disrupting its refined appearance. When not in use, the technology remains completely hidden: monitors, microphones, speakers, and connectors are seamlessly concealed beneath the table’s matching surface.
This remarkable integration was made possible by Arthur Holm’s DynamicX2Talk UnderCover solution. Designed to be veneered and blend seamlessly into high-end meeting furniture, the patented UnderCover system allows the technology to quietly retract into the table, maintaining a uniform and elegant finish.
This AV project was designed and implemented by the Hungarian system integrator AVM Konferenciatechnika Kft. and consisted in:
- 17-inch DynamicX2 monitors anodized in black
- Custom DynamicTalk systems compatible with Audio-Technica ATUC-M43H microphones
- Front panel customization featuring an RJ45 connector, USB power port, passive loudspeaker, and USB-C cable
- One ERT unit included for extended control, configuration and service
The result is a sophisticated, powerful, and fully functional boardroom table—where technology supports strategic decision-making without ever getting in the way of design.
