In prestigious projects, every detail matters. Nothing should disrupt the harmony of a beautifully designed space. This philosophy guides every solution developed by Arthur Holm—where technology blends seamlessly into furniture, delivering what can only be described as audiovisual haute couture.
In collaboration with PLUG’In Design and Kamo, this latest project showcases how innovation, craftsmanship, and design can come together to create an exceptional boardroom experience.
A Seamless Integration of Design and Technology
The project began with an in-depth design study led by PLUG’In Design. The challenge: to create a bespoke Corian boardroom table capable of integrating 31 vertically retractable monitors DynamicX2, while addressing the structural constraints of this premium material.
The result is a striking, minimalist table where each participant benefits from a personal retractable touchscreen by Arthur Holm, completely hidden beneath a Corian cover when not in use. Furthermore, connections, microphone, push to talk buttons and microphone were integrated in the monitor’s front plate. In its resting state, the space remains perfectly clean—free from visible technology.
To ensure long-term usability, discreet access panels were also designed beneath the table, allowing an easy maintenance without compromising aesthetics.
Invisible Audio, Powerful Performance
The conference system integrates custom solutions based on Dynacord technology and Clockaudio microphones, fully embedded into the table for a clean and unobtrusive finish. The retractable DynamicX2 touch monitors were connected to Televic’s Unibox devices and the customization also included 2 digital microphone led ring button boards and a Phantom power board for ClockAudio 102-RF integration.
Sound reinforcement is delivered through ultra-slim K-array Kobra speakers, seamlessly integrated into the ceiling between wooden slats. The result is a powerful yet invisible audio system that respects the architectural integrity of the space.
A Choreographed User Experience
Beyond design and engineering, the true “wow” moment lies in the user experience.
When the system is activated, the room comes to life through a carefully orchestrated sequence: monitors rise one after another, LED strip surrounding the table gradually illuminates, and a projector reveals the company’s logo at the center. Simultaneously, the logo appears across all displays, reinforcing a strong and cohesive visual identity.
Designed to eliminate complexity, the system intuitively responds to user behavior, enabling a fully automated, effortless operation—no manual setup required.
