Combining movement, design and technology, ARTHUR HOLM will be showcasing the largest moving monitor range ever. Retractable, foldable, rotatable and manual screens will be on stage. We will be delighted to show our new DynamicX2 Talk and Dynamic3 talk.

DynamicX2 Talk is a silent, fast, reliable, individually addressable and remotely diagnosable monitor which integrates an independent motorized microphone. The monitor is extremely elegant, with a modern and sober design, made of mechanized and anodized aluminum and finished with a black edged touchscreen glass. The upper table cover plate integrates a mechanism to lift and retract “gooseneck” type microphones equipped with a LED ring which changes color green to red, to indicate the willingness of the user to talk. Furthermore, the system can also integrate a full HD video camera, becoming a complete audio and video conference station, which can disappear within the desk, when no needed. Conference tables become versatile and flexible to different uses.

These are the only monitors on the market which provide automatic tilting by using only one engine; a system which is protected by an international patent. Its passive cover plate prevents dirt and any kind of object from falling inside the mechanism and the lift system has different speed levels depending on the screen position, having as a result a harmonic drive and eluding abrupt movements. An independent lift for the microphone has been added to the system. Consequently, the user can choose to have only the screen, only the microphone, both or none.

Dynamic3 Talk is a multipurpose motorized monitor including a retractable microphone to be easily integrated into board, meeting and conference tables as well as into information counters; a smart combination of design, technology and ergonomics. It is a unique system for furniture integration, totally built in aluminum and glass.

The screen opens and closes with a motorized movement similar to a laptop, with the peculiarity that it can turn 180 degrees, facilitating the share of the information. It can be folded into the desk, both with the screen facing up and facing down. In the last case, the back of the monitor housing can be covered with leather, wood, or any type of material to obtain a uniform finish of the table surface.

The Dynamic3 product range provides keyboard and mouse as options. When the screen is moving up, a tray is automatically raised and the microphone has an independent mechanism.

The screens are operative both in vertical and in horizontal positions and their electronics automatically detect the position and reverse the image according to it and there is also a security system to immediately stop the movements if an objection is detected.

Building on the theme first explored two years ago in French architect Jean Nouvel’s installation “Project: office for living”, the Salone del Mobile collateral event this year will again focus on the workplace. Michele De Lucchi – the internationally renowned Italian architect – will curate the exhibition/event in the Workplace3.0 pavilions, a space born of the desire to showcase proposals and design solutions for living the workspace in its many different contemporary interpretations.

In a continually and rapidly evolving world, the office is increasingly subject to transformations driven by social, economic and cultural shifts. Workspaces become changeable landscapes; the office of the future sheds conventions and generates innovation.

Thus La Passeggiata, a metaphor of the importance of not sitting still. In the office, movement is more productive than immobility, and the interior and exterior landscapes play a fundamental role in creating the workspace itself. Paradoxically, spaces like the reception foyer, the kitchen, a green corner in an unexpected location, a particularly comfortable conference room are becoming more important, and the route to one’s workstation deserves as much attention as the workstation itself.
