Boardrooms have become more important than ever. Today, they are no longer passive, compliance-focused spaces, but active centres for strategic decision-making. In 2026, the modern boardroom acts as a true “war room”, where organisations navigate technological disruption, AI adoption, ESG priorities, reputational risk, and rapidly changing market conditions. These spaces demand technology that supports clear communication, seamless collaboration, and sophisticated design integration.
French system integrator SNEF was entrusted with the creation of a sober yet highly functional boardroom in the heart of Paris. The objective was clear: to design an elegant executive environment capable of supporting strategic discussions while maintaining a refined and minimalist aesthetic.
At the centre of the room stands a striking rectangular black conference table, conceived as the focal point for executive collaboration. To preserve the clean architectural lines of the space, SNEF selected Arthur Holm’s DB2 monitors — an award-winning and patented retractable monitor range specifically engineered to leave the smallest possible footprint on the table surface. With their elegant aluminium housing, silent motorised movement, and advanced retractable mechanism, DB2 monitors disappear seamlessly into the furniture when not in use, allowing the table to remain completely clean and uncluttered.
One of the defining values of Arthur Holm is the ability to adapt technology to the identity and requirements of each individual project. No two boardrooms are the same, and executive spaces increasingly demand solutions tailored not only to technical requirements, but also to architectural vision, interior design, corporate branding, and user experience. In this Paris installation, the DB2 monitors were specially customised with a black anodised finish, perfectly matching the room’s sophisticated monochromatic design language and reinforcing the minimalist concept envisioned by SNEF.
Beyond aesthetics, DB2 monitors provide exceptional ergonomics and viewing comfort thanks to their adjustable tilt system, while their compact design optimises valuable table space — an essential feature in executive environments where comfort, visibility, and elegance must coexist naturally.
The same philosophy of seamless integration guided the communication system design. Arthur Holm DynamicTalk were also customised in black, ensuring total visual harmony throughout the installation while discreetly concealing the microphones inside the table when not in use.
DynamicTalk combines advanced conferencing functionality with refined architectural integration. The microphones rise smoothly and silently from the table only when required, maintaining a clean, distraction-free environment that supports concentration and interaction. Their smooth movement system and premium finish transform what is traditionally considered a technical device into a subtle design element fully aligned with the room’s aesthetic identity.
To guarantee exceptional speech intelligibility and efficient management of speaking turns during high-level meetings, the DynamicTalk units were integrated with Televic Confidea F-DM discussion systems and equipped with 50 cm gooseneck microphones. The combination of DB2 and DynamicTalk creates a perfectly balanced environment where technology remains discreet while delivering outstanding performance for every participant.
Special attention was also given to microphone status visibility. The LED rings integrated into both the Arthur Holm DynamicTalk system and the Televic microphones were fully synchronised, providing immediate and intuitive visual indication of microphone activity at all times. This synchronisation enhances meeting fluidity and improves the overall user experience by allowing participants and moderators to instantly identify active speaking positions.
The result is a boardroom that combines understated elegance with advanced functionality — a space where technology enhances strategic dialogue without dominating the architecture. Every detail was carefully considered to create an environment worthy of executive decision-making at the highest level.
