Beobank’s boardroom: a technological gem designed by Auvicom and equipped with DB2 retractable monitors, DynamicTalk UnderCover and DynamicSpeaker by Arthur Holm

Beobank’s new Belgian headquarters are located in the northern district of the city, on the inner ring road in the centre of Brussels. This location was chosen because it met a number of important criteria: easy access, good visibility in the city and it provides versatile, open and flexible workspaces. In addition, the sustainable building reflects the bank’s values. Beobank House is a very cozy and pleasant place to work. Everything, absolutely everything, is designed to make working there comfortable and efficient, and to encourage interactions and cooperation between employees! 

An important audiovisual challenge! 

The biggest challenge Auvicom faced for the new headquarters was that all AV equipment had to meet very strict quality requirements while being very easy to use. In total, 5 training rooms, an auditorium with capacity for 100 people and a boardroom which had to be equipped with the latest technology and solutions to manage audio, video, data transmission, presentations and meetings. 

Another important requirement was to respect the design of the table. Monitors, microphones, cable cubbies and speakers were required to leave a minimal footprint on the table surface.

Undoubtedly, a challenging and highly demanding project in which an integrator with great experience and capacity was needed!

The boardroom 

The boardroom is a small technological gem that has enough space to accommodate 26 people. The space itself had to be discreet, distinguished and welcoming, allowing meetings to be flexible enough to host a variable number of attendees. It had to be a room capable of hosting highly demanding meetings and facilitating the best decision making.

To maintain the sobriety and elegance of the boardroom, it was decided to house all electronic equipment on a large custom-made table (Pami)  that would allow access to monitors and microphones depending on the participants who requested it. Also, all hardware had to be integrated respecting the aesthetics of the table as much as possible. Auvicom was able to integrate all the necessary devices into a meeting table on which monitors, microphones and motorized speakers appeared and disappeared according to the needs of the users. The chosen retractable monitors were the DB2 (monitors with only 20 mm. of thickness and without the need for a tabletop cover plate). In addition, these motorized monitors were anodised in black. The microphones (Bosch) were integrated into the DynamicTalk UnderCover: an exquisite solution, specially designed so that the automated cover was upholstered  with the same material as the finish of the table top.

Auvicom came with a design that integrated all the necessary hardware into the meeting table on which monitors, microphones and motorized speakers appeared and disappeared depending on the needs of the users. And, at the touch of a button, all monitors, microphones, loudspeakers, and cable cubbies were put into action. To all this, an impressive 98-inch Samsung screen was added, as well as all the necessary equipment for video conferences, and also a control room with space for simultaneous translations.
